Fidelis Builders Founder – An Introduction

An in depth intro…

Although you may have stumbled across our ‘About Us’ page, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and give you a better understanding of who I am and what drives me.  My name is Tim, I’m 34 and the founder of Fidelis Builders.

Since before I can remember I knew I wanted to build houses.  Home always meant so much to me, as a family of five growing up, it was always a place we gathered, a place of consistency and reliability for me and my family.  I spent all 18 years of my youth in the same home that my parents still reside in today.  Those memories and that enjoyment drives me to build that atmosphere for others.

I grew up right here in Sacramento, California, a graduate of Christian Brothers High School, I went on to earn my college degree from San Diego State University.  Although away for some time; family, friends, and the lasting memories of Sacramento eventually brought me back.  I’ve been fortunate enough to spend time building all kinds of projects throughout the state, from a hospital in San Francisco to a French farmhouse along the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo. These projects, along with many others, have provided amazing opportunities and a diverse range of building knowledge that I constantly rely on in business today.

Although building rarely escapes my mind, once in a while I do step away to pursue other endeavors.  I have a driving desire to see the world, traveling both locally and abroad has providing amazing insights into other people and cultures and built environments.  Often times, planning trips around skiing or sporting events to support our NorCal teams (Kings, Giants, Niners) all over the country.  I keep active with a golf club from time to time and in the summer you can find me on a paddle board with the dog.

With all that, my endless drive to tinker, fix, and build whatever my mind can conceive remains.  I find joy in the minute details of building, seen and unseen, the endless intricacies of homes.  And yet, always finding time to slow down, to understand the why behind it all, whether functional form, or an aesthetic that elicits the emotions, understanding the bigger pictures helps us build great things.

Truthfully, nothing fulfills me more than bringing other’s dreams to life though, and I want to do that by building dream homes.  Whether big or small, simple or elaborate, I want to bring your dream to life.  My hope is that it can deliver all those things my home did as a kid, a place to gather and learn, grow and thrive.  If we can do that then I’ll know we’ve succeeded.

We look forward to hearing from you, we looking forward to working with you, and we look forward to growing together.

Cheers,

Tim
