Based in Sacramento, Fidelis Builders is a general building contractor that focuses on attention to detail for every project, big or small, and provides exquisite, luxury home construction. The Fidelis team has the knowledge and expertise to bring exceptional homes to life.
Founded on the principals of Trust and Honesty, the company’s roots date back to 2015. Originally established as TDK Building Co. by founder Tim Kunz, the company recently went through a rebranding, looking to better align with the values that make up who we are. And so, in 2022, a formation of new beginnings took shape, a company portraying those values through the name Fidelis – a Latin term roughly translating to faithful, loyal, and trustworthy.
Fidelis Builders focuses on well intentioned, high-end residential building projects with a discerning eye for detail and craftsmanship. We create lasting partnerships with our clients and trade partners by delivering a seamless and rewarding project experience. With over 10 years of experience, we understand the nuances of building, and tackle these challenges head on.

Founder and CEO Tim Kunz grew up with the craftsman bug. Always tinkering, he spent hours constructing with Legos and building K’Nex sets. He went on to graduate from San Diego State University with a degree in Construction Engineering and Management.
After spending years managing large, complex commercial projects he returned to those roots that he found so satisfying as a young boy. In 2015 he started TDK Building Co., a small residential construction firm, self-performing most work that came his way. Eventually realizing that his passion not only lie in the tools but also in the business, the Fidelis brand was found.
